2.Specification of the SiC heating elements
Silicon Carbides heating elements are used in applications ranging in temperature from 600°C
up to 1500°C in both air and controlled atmospheres. Although the type of atmosphere used will
determine the maximum recommended element temperature. This kind of silicon carbide elements
can be mounted either vertically or horizontally. The elements of our product are available in the
range of 10 to 54mm diameter. The total length can vary up to 4500mm.

5). Usage:
It is widely used in various high temperature laboratory furnace and other electric heating devices,
such as in the industries of magnet, ceramics, ceramics, power metallurgy.
6). Advices of using silicon carbide(SiC)heating elements:
1) In order to keep furnace temperature and the charges uniform of each element, before installation
resistance distribution must be carried.
2) As the element is very brittle, be careful while install and maintain to avoid any damage.
3) When start to operate the furnace, raise voltage slowly and gradually, never give full load at one time.
